Considering the size of the job, work has progressed quite quickly on the bridge repairs - the damaged pier was removed in July and work to rebuild it started soon after. The following shots are a record of the progress so far. It is hoped that the line to Rawtenstall will be reopened before Chistmas. Click on any photo to enlarge.
